Business Controller / Stockholm

About the Role

In order to further accelerate the profitable growth of the business, Trustly is now seeking a Business Controller to help us monitor and develop the performance of the business.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in business and wants to be part of developing the business controlling function of Trustly.

Example Tasks

  • Lead and coordinate major projects within Finance
  • Manage budget process and support respective functions in preparing budgets
  • Drive (quarterly) forecast updates during the year
  • Counterpart and concentration risk analysis and report to RCC
  • FX risk analysis and reporting to RCC
  • Functional reporting
  • Produce KPI-reports
  • Assist in Monthly Management reporting
  • Ad hoc business analysis; e.g. how much did our AFK cost?; what is the profitability of a new salesperson?; what is the profitability per vertical or merchant?
  • Business analysis; purchasing support


  • Degree qualified in Business Administration or related discipline
  • About 5 years’ experience from Big 4 accounting firm and/or experience from reputable firms in a Business Controller position
  • Experience of reporting to management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English


  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Qlicksense
  • Experience in Financial Services
