Groupon adds direct bank e-Payments from Swedish Trustly as a payment method

The U.S. exchange listed e -commerce company Groupon implements Trusty’s solution for direct bank e-Payments. Groupon is one of the largest companies in the e- commerce segment, and assists companies in 48 different countries to distribute offers to consumers.

In its first phase, Groupon has implemented Trusty’s solution online in Sweden and Spain.

- By using Trustly we can directly provide convenient and secure payment method for all our online customers for seven different Swedish banks - Swedbank, Nordea, Handelsbanken, SEB, Danske Bank, Skandiabanken and Länsförsäkringar Bank. Direct bank e-Payments are both secure and easy to use, and we expect a stronger influx of customers who will select this payment method both online and later through the mobile application.

Trustly also offers secure payments within the Buy & Sell segment and the online gaming segment, and are currently already collaborating with world leading brands such as Blocket and Betsson.
